More info for my Outline

Today I worked on completing my outline. I've got notes for eight of my ten foundation questions and I'm still putting them on my outline. Getting the notes off the internet is easy, but organizing them on an outline is a little more complicated. Putting the foundation questions in order was easy, until I start looking at my notes all together and realized that some notes for one foundaton question also fit with another question. The dilemma of which question to put the notes under is a reoccurring problem for me. When writing the outline I also realize how the different subcatergories need more information to back up a statement. I moving along through this process and I'm wondering if I'll have time to work on other parts of my graduation project. I still need to do an interview and work on my action plan.

Here we again

I'm still taking notes on some questions that are very crucial to my graduation project. I'm happy because there is so much information so far. I don't think I'll have to much trouble answering my questions.

So Much Work!!!

Today I realized how hard this was going to be. I thought I could do just one simple survey and get all the data I needed. I was wrong; I have to make a survey to find out how many people, form each grade, actually eat CityHigh's lunches and the number of students who like the lunches. I have to make up a survey with food options on the list that everyone/almost everyone will agree with. I have to find out what lunches CityHigh surves that the students like so that we may keep those and only dispose of the problem lunches. I have to make a poster to find out whose interested in this matter (teachers&students) and I still have to start recruiting the student population of the Wellness committee.

New goals

I talked to Mrs. Johnson and I had to squeeze my project into something a little smaller. My goal now is to change the school lunches by getting students and staff to interact with each other to plan future lunches. I will be responsbile for gathering students to participate in the Wellness committee group which for now is all staff. I have to figure out how I'm going to get the students to join and I also have to make up a survey for all grades to help get some reasonable options in.

Delay in Plans

I was suppose to have a meeting with Mrs. Johnson today at the the beginning of second block, but for some reason she wasn't in her office or in the building. I guess I'm going to have to re-schedule. Today I'm going to gather more information about my topic and continue writing my proposal.

Proposal

In my proposal I am at point were I'm trying to convince people the importance of my project. Today I sent Mrs. Johnson an email to try and see when could meet for the fourth time. She responds with answers to every question but that one. I'm starting to think she doesn't want to meet with me.

Meeting

I'm trying to get a meeting with Mrs. Johnson so I can figure out how this committee is going to get off the ground. I'm waiting for her to e-mail me back a date and time for this meeting between her, the other members and I. Hopefully by the end of this week I will have started recruiting the student population for the committee.
